Ranchi, July 30 -- The Jharkhand Congress on Thursday hit back at the BJP over the JPSC recruitment controversy, alleging that the roots of the issue lay in appointments made during the tenure of the state's first Chief Minister Babulal Marandi.
State Congress media coordinator Dr M Tauseef alleged that the JPSC chairman and members appointed during the BJP government were responsible for irregularities in the commission's initial recruitment process. He claimed the first and second batches of JPSC recruitment had faced legal challenges following protests by aspirants.
