Ranchi, June 19 -- BJP on Friday targeted Congress over the ongoing exchange of allegations within the ruling Mahagathbandhan following the Rajya Sabha election results in Jharkhand.
Jharkhand BJP chief spokesperson Pratul Shah Deo said Congress leaders were blaming their alliance partners after the defeat of party candidate Pranav Jha in the Rajya Sabha election.
Referring to remarks made by Congress leaders against RJD and CPI(ML), Shah Deo alleged that Congress was attempting to shift responsibility for its electoral setback onto its allies instead of introspecting.
He questioned how parties that had shared power and contested elections together could suddenly be described as "untrustworthy" after the election outcome.
