Ranchi, Sept. 12 -- The Jharkhand Congress on Saturday demanded a separate code for Other Backward Classes (OBC) in the ongoing census and announced a march to Raj Bhavan on September 16.
Addressing a press conference at Congress Bhavan in Ranchi, state Congress president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh and Congress Legislature Party leader Pradip Yadav said OBC communities should have a clear and scientific identification in the census.
Kamlesh said the first phase of the census, covering houses, had been completed and the second phase, covering individuals, was to begin.
