Ranchi, Aug. 19 -- The BJP on Tuesday lodged a complaint with the Ranchi Cyber Crime Police Station against a social media post allegedly depicting Prime Minister Narendra Modi as dead and demanded registration of an FIR and a probe into the matter.
BJP state spokesperson Ajay Sah alleged that an Instagram account named Rishikesh Chauhan had shared an objectionable image showing a garland placed on Modi's photograph along with words referring to his funeral.
Sah claimed that the comment was posted on the Instagram profile of Ranchi Congress Mahanagar president Kumar Raja.
