Ranchi, Sept. 10 -- Jharkhand on Thursday signed an agreement with the Centre for implementation of the Amended BharatNet Programme (ABP) Phase III to strengthen broadband connectivity across rural and underserved areas of the state.
The Project Implementation and Support Agreement was signed between Digital Bharat Nidhi (DBN), Government of Jharkhand and Jharkhand Digital Infrastructure Corporation Limited (JDICL).
DBN Administrator Shyamal Mishra was present on behalf of the Centre, while Jharkhand Information Technology Department Secretary Pooja Singhal and Director Madhavi Mishra signed the agreement on behalf of the state government.
