Patna, Sept. 4 -- The ruling JD(U) in Bihar will launch a state-wide outreach programme from Buxar tomorrow to highlight the "injustice" caused to the state by the Farakka water-sharing arrangement and to build public awareness about its alleged long-term impact on Bihar's interests.
The programme, titled 'Nitish Samvad on Farakka Water Pact', will be inaugurated from Buxar by JD(U) national working president Sanjay Kumar Jha and Bihar unit president Umesh Singh Kushwaha, party leaders said.
