Patna, June 20 -- The National and State Council meetings of the Janata Dal (United) will be held in Patna on June 21 under the chairmanship of party national president Nitish Kumar.
JD(U) Bihar unit president Umesh Singh Kushwaha said here today that the meetings would be organised at the party''s state headquarters and delegates from across the country would participate in the deliberations.
Kushwaha said there was considerable enthusiasm among party leaders and workers regarding the meetings. He added that delegates arriving in Patna from different parts of the country would be accorded a warm welcome in keeping with Bihar''s tradition of hospitality.
