Patna, April 20 -- Reaffirming faith in the leadership of former Bihar chief minister and Rajya Sabha MP Nitish Kumar, the Janata Dal (United), today authorised the national president and veteran leader Kumar to take a final call on the selection of the leader of its legislature party.
The decision was taken at a meeting held here, where senior party leaders unanimously backed a proposal empowering Nitish Kumar to decide who would lead the JD(U) legislators. The proposal was moved by Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary.
