Dehradun, June 13 -- Renowned shooter and former Olympian Jaspal Rana's demise has sent a wave of mourning in Uttarakhand.
Rana, mentor of his fellow Olympian medallist Manu Bhakar, was a native of Uttarakhand.
As National Rifle Association of India broke the news of Jaspal Rana's demise, a pall of gloom descended over the Himalayan state. Political leaders cutting across party lines expressed their condolences and shared Rana's contribution to the country and the state.
