Jammu, Oct. 5 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested two absconders in Surankote area of Poonch district.
Police here in a statement said that absconders namely Niyaz Ahmed and Manzoor Hussain, both residents of Marhote, Tehsil Surankote, District Poonch after their arrest, were produced before the competent Court for further judicial determination and necessary legal proceedings.
General Warrants of Arrest under Section 512 Cr.P.C. had been issued against both accused persons by the Court of District Mobile Magistrate, Poonch, in connection with a case registered under relevant sections and they were evading arrest since 2018.
