Jammu, Oct. 17 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday conducted Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) to strengthen security in Ramban district.
A police spokesman here said that as part of continued efforts to strengthen security and maintain vigilance, Jammu and Kashmir in Ramban district conducted a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) at the residences ofJammu and Kashmir Nationals Operating from Pakistan (JKNOPs) and Over Ground Workers (OGWs) in the Khari area.
He said that during the operation, mobile phones of family members were checked as part of security-related verification.
"The family members were also briefed to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious international calls or communications to the police," he added.
