Jammu, Sept. 12 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police officer of the rank of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Dushyant Sharma, has been approved to serve as the Prevention of Manipulation of Competitions (PMC) Officer as part of the Indian contingent for the 20th Asian Games, scheduled to be held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4, 2026.
According to the official communique, Sharma's inclusion in the Indian contingent has been approved by Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, and P T Usha, President of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA).
