Jammu, Sept. 10 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in a bribery case in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The ACB spokesman said that the ASI identified as Talib Hussain, stationed at Police Post Talwara in District Reasi, has been arrested in a bribery case, adding, "a case was registered under relevant sections against the accused public servant at the ACB Police Station in Udhampur."The ASI Hussain, acting as the Investigating Officer (I.O.), demanded illegal gratification from a complainant in exchange for presenting a charge sheet (challan) against accused individuals in a court of law.
