Jammu, Oct. 17 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), district Ramban, Anna Lata Sinha has ordered the referral of Assistant Sub-Inspector to the de-addiction centre period of one month.
As per the order issued by the SSP Ramban, Assistant Sub Inspector, has been been referred to the de-addiction centre of District Hospital Ramban for a period of one month to undergo alcohol de-addiction.
"As it has come to the notice of the SSP Ramban that he (ASI) has been consuming alcohol during duty hours, as certified by the Medical Officer, who opined that his consumption makes him unfit to perform his duties," it read.
