Srinagar, April 29 -- : Stepped-up enforcement drives under 100-day Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyaan have led to the arrest of more than 296 drug peddlers, registration of over 281 cases, and identification of key hotspots, officials said on Wednesday.
The details emerged during a joint review meeting co-chaired by the IGP Kashmir V.K. Birdi and Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg to assess the implementation of the "Nasha Mukt" campaign, which was launched by J&K Lt Governor Manoj Sinha.
The meeting was attended by all range DIGs of Kashmir, all DCs of Kashmir, all district SSsP of Kashmir Zone, and other senior officers.
