Patna, Aug. 3 -- Jan Suraaj Party candidate Prashant Kishor was ahead of BJP candidate Neeraj Kumar Sinha by 1,161 votes till 10 a.m. in the Bankipur Assembly constituency.
According to the Election Commission, Prashant Kishor had secured 3,795 votes, while Neeraj Kumar Sinha had polled 2,634 votes. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) candidate Rekha Gupta was in third place with 664 votes.
