Jammu, April 30 -- union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Thursday while reaffirming the Government of India's commitment to 'Development through Connectivity,' here at the flagging off ceremony of Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat service, termed this event as "making new history," stating that this rail link would establish an unbreakable and direct connection between Jammu and the Kashmir Valley.
Union Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah also joined the inaugural ceremony of direct 'Vande Bharat Express' service from Jammu Tawi Railway Station to Srinagar (Kashmir Valley).
