Jammu, Aug. 10 -- The Jammu Division of Northern Railway has set a new benchmark for efficiency within Indian Railways, adding a historic chapter to operations by achieving the highest-ever single-day punctuality record for Mail and Express trains.
As per the official communique, on July 31, the division recorded an exceptional punctuality rate of 94.12 per cent, marking a golden milestone in its operational history.
This new record significantly surpasses the division's previous best performance of 92.59 percent achieved on February 20, 2025.
