Jammu, May 21 -- The four-day BSF Jammu Region Lawn Tennis Spandan League 2026 commenced here on Thursday at the Lawn Tennis Courts, Maulana Azad Stadium, under the Khelo India Initiative.
The tournament is being organized by the Border Security Force in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council and the Jammu and Kashmir Lawn Tennis Association to promote sports culture and nurture young tennis talent in the region.
The event was inaugurated by Inspector General BSF Jammu Frontier, Shashank Anand, who appreciated the efforts of the organizers in providing a competitive platform to budding players. He emphasized the importance of sports in building discipline, fitness and team spirit among youth.
