Jalgaon, April 24 -- A daily wage labourer from Raver in Jalgaon district has died after allegedly suffering from heatstroke, as extreme summer conditions continue to intensify across the region.
An official said the deceased has been identified as Yogesh Sudhakar Mahajan.
According to reports, Mahajan was engaged in manual labour in the construction sector and worked long hours under intense sunlight to support his family.
In addition to his daily wage work, he also took up part-time employment at a milk dairy to cope with rising living expenses.
Continuous exposure to severe heat reportedly led to a deterioration in his health. He experienced symptoms of extreme heat stress during the day, and his condition worsened later at night. At...
