New Delhi, Aug. 24 -- External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin on Monday and highlighted what he described as "very significant" growth in India-Russia economic cooperation, as the two sides looked to deepen ties in trade, energy, fertilisers, nuclear power and technology.
Jaishankar, who is on a two-day visit to Moscow, conveyed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's greetings and a personal message to Putin during the meeting, while briefing him on the outcome of the India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission meeting held earlier in the day.
