New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- Congress general secretary in-charge communications Jairam Ramesh on Saturday launched a fresh attack on the Narendra Modi government over rising prices, alleging that inflation was steadily eroding household budgets and placing a growing burden on the common man and the middle class.In a post on social media platform X, Ramesh said the increase in prices was no longer limited to a few commodities but was affecting a wide range of goods used in everyday life. "From soap to cars, and from spices to flour, rice, sugar and oil, inflation has broken the back of the common man," he said.
