Puri, Sept. 11 -- Odisha Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan on Friday said the inventory of precious ornaments of Sri Jagannath Temple, including those studded with rare emeralds, diamonds, sapphires and rubies, will be kept confidential and will not be uploaded in the public domain.

Briefing reporters on the sidelines of a felicitation function here, Mr Harichandan said the ongoing inventory of the Bhitar Ratna Bhandar and the process of tallying each ornament with the 1978 inventory are expected to gather pace from Margasir (early December) and be completed soon.

He said the inventory was being conducted strictly in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SoP) prescribed by the Odisha government.
