Chennai, July 4 -- The Joint Action Forum on Minorities (JAFM) has submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi through the Chennai District Collector seeking withdrawal of the proposed FCRA (Amendment) Bill, 2026.
Pursuant to the resolutions adopted by the JAFM as part of its nationwide movement against the proposed Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill (FCRA), 2026, the nationwide signature campaign has commenced across the country. As part of this coordinated campaign, representations signed by citizens are being submitted to the Prime Minister through the respective District Collectors, seeking the withdrawal of the proposed legislation.
