Glasgow, July 31 -- Indian boxer Jadumani Singh continued the country's dominant run in the boxing arena at the Commonwealth Games 2026, defeating Namibia's Philip Pumulo Mutakela Haoseb in the men's 55kg semifinal to enter the gold medal bout.

The Manipuri pugilist produced a composed and technically superior performance, taking control of the contest from the opening round. Jadumani won the first two rounds unanimously 5-0, showcasing his speed, sharp combinations and effective movement inside the ring.

Maintaining pressure throughout the bout, the Indian boxer kept his opponent on the back foot with accurate punches and tactical awareness to seal his place in the final.
