Thiruvananthapuram, July 14 -- The Jacobite Syrian Christian Church will formally enthrone Bishop Dr. Kuriakose Mar Theophilos as the first Metropolitan of its newly formed Thiruvananthapuram Region at a solemn ceremony to be held at 5 pm on July 15 at St. Peter's Jacobite Simhasana Cathedral in the state capital.
The enthronement service will be presided over by Catholicos Baselios Joseph Mor Baselios, while Dr. Isaac Mar Osthathios, Metropolitan of the Mylapore Diocese, and other Metropolitans of the Church will participate as co-celebrants.
