New Delhi, Sept. 5 -- The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has announced the start dates for the 2026-27 seasons of the Indian Women's League (IWL) and Indian Women's League 2 (IWL 2), India's top two tiers of women's club football.
The IWL will get underway from October 16, with eight clubs set to compete in the upcoming season - six from last season (East Bengal FC, Sethu FC, Kickstart FC, Nita FA, Gokulam Kerala FC, and Garhwal United FC) and two promoted from last season's IWL 2 (HOPS FC and Juba Sangha FC).
The IWL 2 group stage will commence on October 23, with 20 clubs divided into four groups of five. The group winners and the two best second-placed teams will advance to the six-team final round, which will begin on November 2...
