Malappuram, May 11 -- The Indian union Muslim League (IUML) has directed its senior leaders to immediately assemble at Panakkad once the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) formally announces its Chief Ministerial candidate, amid intense political negotiations over the formation of the next government in Kerala.
The instruction comes as hectic consultations continue in New Delhi within the Congress high command over the selection of the next Chief Minister and the sharing of Cabinet portfolios among UDF constituents following the alliance's electoral victory.
