Patna, May 22 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary today lauded the historic achievement of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police's (ITBP) first all-women expedition team for successfully scaling Mount Everest, calling it a proud moment for the entire nation.

In a social media message on X, Choudhary said that the remarkable feat by the 11-member women's team has filled every Indian with pride. The historic success of ITBP's first all-women expedition team on Mount Everest is a moment of pride for every Indian, he said.

Praising the team's courage and determination, the Chief Minister said, all 11 brave women, showcasing remarkable courage, determination, and the power of womanhood, hoisted the Tricolour atop the world's highest peak.
