Lucknow, Nov. 7 -- Combining the festive spirit of Diwali with a message of humanitarian service, the Eastern Frontier of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), under the leadership of Inspector General K Sanjay Kumar, organised a large-scale blood donation drive on Dhanteras and Chhoti Diwali.
Organized with the inspiring message of "One home lights a lamp, one blood donation gives life," approximately 5,000 Himveers demonstrated their commitment to humanity by voluntarily donating blood.
The drive was organized through various ITBP battalions and establishments in Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, Bihar, West Bengal, and the national capital, Delhi.
