Itanagar, June 7 -- The Itanagar Police has arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with an alleged attempt to murder case involving an assault on an auto-rickshaw driver near the Clock Tower area in Itanagar, police said on Sunday.
According to police, a written complaint was received at Itanagar Police Station on June 6 regarding an assault on an auto driver by another auto driver.
Based on the complaint, a case was registered as Itanagar P.S. Case No. 152/2026 under Sections 109(II) and 118(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which pertain to attempt to murder and voluntarily causing grievous hurt by a dangerous weapon.
