New Delhi, July 24 -- Rising pistol shooter Sainyam gave India its first medal at the ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun, currently underway in Hangzhou, China, by winning a silver in the women's 10m air pistol event.
The 22-year-old delivered a calm and consistent performance in the final, finishing with 243.4 points to secure second place against a strong international field. She had earlier qualified for the final after scoring 579 in the qualification round.
The Chandigarh shooter's latest success continues her impressive run of form.
