Jerusalem, June 18 -- The Israeli military has published an updated map of its security zone in southern Lebanon, stating that its forces will remain deployed in the area for the foreseeable future amid its ongoing war with Hezbollah.

As per the map, Israeli positions stretch up to over 10 km inside Lebanese territory along parts of the border.

Releasing an official statement, the IDF said "IDF soldiers are stationed in the designated area of operation in southern Lebanon and will continue to remove threats and strengthen the defence of Israel's northern residents."The updated map suggests Israeli forces have made further inroads into southern Lebanon since the "forward defence line" was announced in April, including areas near the outski...
