Bengaluru, March 2 -- Consul General of Consulate General of Israel to South India Orli Weitzman has said that Israel will continue its actions against Iran until it is fully assured that the threat posed by Tehran's nuclear and ballistic missile capabilities no longer exists.
Speaking on the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict, Weitzman told reporters this was the first time Iran had openly articulated its intentions in such a manner, asserting that the Iranian leadership's primary aim had long been to destroy Israel.
"Iran's main concern and main aim has been to try and destroy Israel. This is what they've been working for. This is why they have a nuclear programme. This is why they have ballistic missiles," she said.
