Tehran, March 27 -- Multiple air strikes struck Tehran, Isfahan and surrounding towns on the 28th day of the war on Friday. Explosions were reported throughout the city as residents described the blasts as "intense and widespread," Mehr News reported.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that a series of coordinated attacks were launched targeting Iran's military infrastructure.
According to the Israeli military, air strikes hit key sites, including Tehran's weapons production facilities and missile storage locations in western Iran.
In a separate announcement, the IDF said its air force had targeted Iran's "primary facility for the production of missiles and sea mines" in Yazd, central Iran.
