Beirut, May 27 -- At least 31 people have been killed as Israeli forces launched one of the heaviest nights of bombardment across southern Lebanon since a U.S.-brokered ceasefire took effect in mid-April.
Apart from air strikes, Israeli ground forces are entering deeper into Lebanese territory while also asking people to vacate towns and villages in southern and eastern Lebanon.
On the 89th day of the Iran war, the Israeli strikes have intensified as its warplanes struck more than 100 Hezbollah infrastructure targets across southern and eastern Lebanon overnight, killing at least 31 people, including children, Lebanon's health ministry said on Wednesday.
