Jerusalem, Aug. 3 -- Amid heavy criticism on the US-backed Gaza disarmament roadmap, Israel has fully distanced itself from the deal, insisting the proposal under discussion 'does not reflect Israel's positions' even as the White House-backed Board of Peace continues to push for its implementation.

According to the Israeli PMO spokesman Doron Spielman, Israel had already conveyed its objections to Washington, making it clear that Jerusalem will not support the framework in its current form.
