Samastipur, Aug. 31 -- Junior national badminton player Ishant Raj of Samastipur has been selected for the Bihar junior (Under-19) badminton team and will represent the state at the East Zone Inter-State Junior (Under-19) Badminton Championship to be held in Bhubaneswar from September 3 to 6.
Samastipur District Badminton Association Secretary Tarun Kumar said here on Monday that Ishant attended the selection camp held in Patna from August 25 to 31 for selection to the Bihar team. He was selected for the Bihar junior team based on his career record and impressive performance at the camp.
