New York, March 11 -- Actor and singer Isa Briones, known for her role in the television drama "The Pitt", is set to return to as part of the cast of the hit jukebox musical "Just In Time", where she will portray legendary singer Connie Francis.
The casting marks Briones' return to Broadway after her debut as Eurydice in Hadestown in 2024. She takes over the Francis role originated by Gracie Lawrence and currently played (through March 29) by Sarah Hyland, reports DEADLINE.
Briones currently stars as Dr. Trinity Santos on HBO Max's Emmy-winning "The Pitt". The series' cast recently won The Actor Award (formerly known as the SAG Award) for Outstanding Ensemble in a Drama Series. Her additional TV and stage credits include the Disney series...
