Thiruvananthapuram, May 19 -- The Kerala Joint Council has called upon Chief Minister VD Satheesan to urgently intervene and stop what it described as irregular and norm-violating transfers being carried out in various government departments following the change of government.
In a statement, the council alleged that Congress-aligned service organisations are influencing transfer decisions by submitting recommendations, resulting in widespread violations of established procedures.
It further claimed that from the day of the election results, government employees have been subjected to punitive transfers to distant locations, along with reports of large-scale fund collection linked to postings.
