Tehran, June 27 -- The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy said it has targeted several US military positions in the region in retaliation after the US air raids against several locations along the country's southern coasts, while Iran's Foreign Ministry called the attacks a "flagrant violation" of the Pakistan-mediated memorandum of understanding (MoU).

In a statement carried by Sepah News early on Saturday, the IRGC Navy said the United States had violated its commitments after launching airstrikes on Iran's coastline under the pretext of a vessel's unauthorized passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
