Tehran, March 24 -- The Iranian state media has continued with threats against the US in stark contradiction to President Donald Trump's claims of having held "constructive" discussions with Tehran, and issuing a temporary five-day pause in planned strikes on Iranian power infrastructure.
The state media has said no such dialogue was held between Washington and Tehran, with all diplomatic communications by and large severed.
Both sides have been issuing threats to each other on a near-daily basis, with neither one looking to ease tensions any time soon.
