Tehran, May 19 -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Monday said that Iranians should expect further inflation, and economic hardship, it as the country is at war and facing mounting pressure on its energy infrastructure and oil exports.

"We will definitely have inflation," Pezeshkian said at a gathering of public relations officials from state institutions, reports Iran International.

"We are fighting and we must accept the hardship that comes with it."Regarding the rising prices, Pezeshkian said that Iranians must make peace with the current situation, as economic pain is a harsh reality of war, and was unavoidable under the current circumstances.
