Tehran, April 26 -- Senior Iranian officials issuing a series of blunt warnings, made it clear that Tehran will not whatsoever soften its position as tensions with the US and Israel persist.
Mohammadjafar Asadi, a senior figure within the country's Khatam al-Anbiya joint military command, said any renewed strikes by Washington or Israel would be met with a stronger response, and strongly rejected any suggestion of external oversight of the Strait of Hormuz, describing the critical waterway outside American jurisdiction.
