Tehran, July 24 -- Iran on Thursday condemned Britain's reported decision to allow the United States to use British military bases for strikes against Tehran, warning that any country assisting military action against Iran would "bear responsibility for the consequences."The warning came after a media report said that British Prime Minister Andy Burnham had approved continued U.S. access to military facilities, including Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean and RAF Fairford in England, to support operations against Iran.
In a statement, Iran's Foreign Ministry said London's decision to provide military bases and logistical support for what it described as Washington's "illegal" attacks violated the U.N. Charter and international law.
