Tehran/New Delhi, March 7 -- Iran slammed the United Nations on Saturday for ignoring the killing of hundreds of innocent Iranian civilians, including that of 175 school children, in US and Israeli military bombings since February 28, when the war started.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres was not taking into account the hundreds of innocent Iranian civilians killed in the US and Israeli military campaign. The UN Secretary General has, instead, voiced concern about "the grave risk to the global economy" caused by the US and Israeli military aggression against Iran and has called for efforts "to stop the fighting".
