Tehran, Aug. 25 -- Iran said on Tuesday it is prepared to withstand a new round of sweeping US sanctions, with Economy Minister Ali Madanizadeh saying Tehran had anticipated the measures and developed a two-year plan to manage their economic impact.
The comments came after Washington unveiled measures aimed at cutting Tehran off from global financial networks,curbing its oil revenues and key sectors including shipping, aviation, technology, gold and digital assets.
