Tehran, March 19 -- Iran is preparing for a protracted war of attrition against its adversaries, and as such will not agree to either a ceasefire, or an early end unless it secures some firm guarantees from both the US and Israel, according to Financial Times.

Calling the ongoing war an existential war for the regime, Iranian officials have repeatedly sought security assurances from the US and Israel, demanding that they don't resume their strikes after the war has ended, alongside lifting all international sanctions.

Without securing such guarantees, Tehran has made it clear that it won't end its attacks, having previously rejected any calls for a ceasefire, as officials noted them to be temporary, rather than any kind of definitive end....
