Moscow, May 3 (Sputnik/UNI) Iran has allegedly begun cutting oil production due to the US naval blockade, Bloomberg claimed citing a senior official.Tehran is preemptively cutting oil production to prevent reaching storage capacity, rather than waiting for tanks to fill completely, the agency said.However, it did not specify the country of origin of the official whose statement it cites.According to Bloomberg, Iranian engineers are capable of shutting down wells and quickly resuming production without causing serious damage.On February 28, the US and Israel began striking targets in Iran, killing more than 3,000 people.
