Tehran, Aug. 22 -- Iran has refrained from public displays and unveilings of military equipment to keep new capabilities secret and maintain an element of surprise against adversaries, Defence Ministry spokesperson Reza Talaei-Nik said.
"One of the reasons we did not hold a military exhibition on Defence Industry Day last year or this year, and stopped a large part of our unveilings, was to surprise the enemy and protect defence information and secrets," Talaei-Nik said in a televised interview, Iran state media reported.
